It’s safe for low-stakes signups and keeps spam out of your real inbox. However, temp inboxes are not private enough for sensitive data, and you can be locked out if the inbox expires. Never use it for banking, government, healthcare, or important accounts.

No — please don’t. Financial accounts require a secure, permanent inbox for statements, alerts, and password recovery. A disposable address can expire or be accessed by others, putting you at risk. Always use your real, secured email for anything involving money or identity.

The address itself isn’t tied to your identity, but websites can still see your IP address and browser details. Temp mail protects your email identity; it is not a substitute for a VPN or Tor for network-level anonymity.

They are permanently deleted along with the mailbox. Copy any codes or information you need before the timer runs out.

You cannot create a Gmail or Yahoo address with temp mail — those providers control their own domains. But you can often use a TempMailGo address to receive verification emails from many services. Some sites deliberately block disposable domains; try switching domains if so.

While an inbox is active, yes. After it expires the address is released. Use the save/QR feature if you want to reliably restore the same address later.
